In 2007 the 5.6 liter VK56 engine from Nissan got a slight make over. Along with the introduction of a variable valve timing cam system and new computer came a different setup for measuring the air/fuel ratio. In previous model years ('04-'06) Nissan monitored the a/f ratio using the front O2 sensors. In 2007 that configuration was changed to begin monitoring the a/f ratio from the rear O2 sensors after the secondary catalytic converters. This meant that an O2 emulator fix was no longer going to be effective and needed to be revised.

To keep the '07-'08 engine management system operating properly without the SES light illuminating with the headers installed, we have developed a set of replacement B-pipes. These B-pipes bolt in the factory location for the secondary catalytic converters. They are a direct bolt in and require no cutting or welding. One of the great things about theses B-pipes is that with no further modifications we achieve gains of 7 RWHP, making this an effective upgrade for the 04-06 models as well.
