So when our design engineers came up with this CAD design system for the 96-04 4.3L that flows the same as our original open filter system we knew it would be a hit. This Quick Fit™ system is designed to use the factory lower air box and install in just minutes. At the heart of the system is AIRAID’s Premium 4+1 SynthaFlow™ series High-Flow Filter that is protected from engine heat by our innovative Cool Air Dam (CAD) design. This kit also features a special design that mounts the OE mass air sensor directly to the CAD and High-Flow Filter for peak performance and improved drivability.
